WHAT IS A ROADIE?

Roadies are 2026 high school graduates who previously served on their high school yearbook staff and have attended Yearbookpalooza.

This is not an attendee role, it’s an internship-style leadership position.

Roadies serve as part of the official workshop support team. They assist with setup and breakdown, support staff and advisers, help sessions run smoothly, and bring positive energy to the entire event. In their exclusive Roadies t-shirts, they are visible leaders and the HYPE squad of Yearbookpalooza.

If you loved Yearbookpalooza as a student, this is your opportunity to experience it from behind the scenes.

COMMITMENT & SCHEDULE

Roadies must:

  • Arrive at The Florida Hotel & Conference Center (Orlando) by 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 12

  • Remain through approximately 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 15

  • Help unload and load vehicles

  • Be available and engaged throughout the workshop

This is a full-commitment role. Roadies are often the first to arrive and the last to leave (but have fun doing it).

EXPECTATIONS

Being selected as a Roadie means stepping into a leadership position. We expect Roadies to:

  • Maintain a positive, high-energy attitude

  • Be visible and engaged throughout the workshop

  • Wear Roadies t-shirts during assigned times

  • Follow directions quickly and respectfully

  • Step in wherever help is needed

  • Represent themselves, their former school, and the workshop professionally

  • Lead by example for current yearbook students

People will look to you. Your attitude sets the tone.

This role is best suited for graduates who are responsible, flexible, team-oriented, and ready to serve.

WHAT ROADIES RECEIVE

Roadies receive:

  • $110 in meal money covering all meals during the workshop

  • Three-night shared hotel room
(Only 2 Roadies per room — no shared beds)

  • Three exclusive Roadies t-shirts

  • $50 gift card

  • Opportunity to earn additional compensation by leading “Roadie Roundtable” discussions

This experience may be listed as an internship on college and job applications. We are happy to serve as a professional reference.

WHO SHOULD APPLY?

You should apply if:

  • You loved Yearbookpalooza and want to give back

  • You’re dependable and ready to work

  • You enjoy being part of a team
